Lesson & Leasing Programs

Shadowlane offers riding programs for all levels; from on the ground horsemanship to competitive showing programs and everything in between! See below for a list of all of our programs. Click on the program title to learn more about it!

Silver & Gold Show Program

For riders wanting to hone their skills and compete at silver and gold hunter/jumper shows 
For Riders: Riding independently and are committed to developing advanced skills and horsemanship 
Lessons: Group, semi-private, and private options with the head coach Carla and head trainer Ayla
Leasing: Split a full lease, Full lease, or own your own horse
Horses Available: Silver/Gold level show horses 
Show Options: Any and all shows

Bronze Part Board Program

Focuses on building a rider’s skills, horsemanship and preparing riders for showing 
For riders: Ready to step out of the rec program and want more barn time, practice, and showing (Max height 2’3)
Lessons: Year-Round Sessions – Group, private and semi-private options with bronze level instructor
Part-Board: 3 days / week part board (1 lesson + 2 independent rides)
Horses Available: Bronze/Silver horses or select school horses by request
Show Options: Any and all bronze level shows (additional costs apply)

Recreational Riding Program

Builds a rider’s knowledge and teaches the principles of English riding 
For Riders: Able to walk/trot to riders able to jump small courses (Maximum height of 2’0)
Lessons: Spring, Summer, and Fall Sessions - One 1-Hour Group Lesson / week 
Optional Lease Add On: Add 1 day / week lease (additional costs apply)
Horses Available: School horses only 
Show Options: At home shows only - one bronze level show per session for 1 day/week leasers (additional costs apply)

Introductory Riding Program

Introduction to riding and horsemanship to start new riders on their riding journeys 
For riders: Not yet able to walk /trot independently or tack and handle horses independently
Lessons: 6 week Sessions with a private 1-hour lesson / week

Beginner Horsemanship Program

A starter course on groundwork and horse care including horse handling, grooming, and tacking
For clients: For those new to horses or wanting to connect with horses on the ground 
Lessons: 4 Week Sessions with a 30-minute lesson / week
