Introductory Riding ProgramFor clients new to horseback riding; our Introductory Lesson Program offers a great way for riders ages 4 and up to learn the foundations of riding and horsemanship.
These lessons teach a rider the skills they need before they can enter our other riding programs, including how to walk and trot, as well as care for their horse before and after lessons. |

Lessons run in 6-week sessions with one lesson per week For 1 rider: 1-hour private lesson / week $90 / lesson ($540 / 6-week session) tax included |
What to Bring to Your Lessons
Riders must bring: - Long comfortable pants - Boots with 1/2 inch to 1 inch heel - Horseback riding helmet (no other helmet types permitted) - Tall rubber boots Parents/Spectators: - Must wear close-toed shoes (Sandals are not allowed) -Tall rubber boots (for parents/guardians of children under the age of 18 who may need their adult’s assistance bringing in or turning out their horse) New riders are also required to have a completed rider information and emergency contact sheet and waiver before riding, which are linked below. Lesson Policies
All lessons must be booked and paid for in advance.
There are no makeups or refunds for missed lessons.
Riders under 18 years of age must have supervision from a parent or guardian when on the property
Riders are required to provide their own riding appropriate footwear, rubber boots, and horseback riding helmet.
