Beginner Horsemanship Program

A starter course on groundwork and horse care including horse handling, grooming, and tacking. For those new to horses or wanting to connect with horses on the ground.

The beginner horsemanship lessons include learning how to handle horses, groom, tack up and untack, and basic horse care. Lessons also include working to understand horse body language, behavior, and basic anatomy.

Lesson Details
Lessons run in 4-week sessions with one lesson per week

30-minute private lesson / week
$40 / lesson ($120 / 4-week session) tax included
What to Bring to Your Lessons

Riders must bring:
- Tall rubber boots 

Parents/Spectators:
- Must wear close-toed shoes (Sandals are not allowed)

 New clients are also required to have a completed rider information and emergency contact sheet and waiver before joining us, which are linked below.

Lesson Policies

All lessons must be booked and paid for in advance.
There are no makeups or refunds for missed lessons.
Clients under 18 years of age must have supervision from a parent or guardian when on the property
Clients are required to provide their own rubber boots & closed toed footwear
