Leasing with Shadowlane Stables
Shadowlane has a variety wonderful horses are available for part-lease, part-board, and full-lease. Leasing is a great way for riders to further their skills and spend more time in the saddle. Riders can choose which horse they want to lease, how often to ride, and on what days they would like to lease. Leasing also allows opportunities for those wishing to enter the show ring or have a horse of their own without diving straight into horse ownership. For the rider wanting the full riding experience, but not currently looking purchase their own horse.
The rider leasing is the sole rider of the horse for the lease period and is responsible for the horse’s care.
Split full lease options, where two riders share a full lease, is also available
Full leasing can be done for a full year, or a portion of the year.

3 day / week lease
For riders wanting more riding time, build a partnership with their favourite horse, to hone their skills, or show at the bronze level
The rider has the horse for 3 days per week for the lease period for independent rides and lessons
Part boarding leases are session long commitments and run concurrently with our bronze lesson program

1 day / week lease
For riders wanting to start riding independently, get more practice, or wanting to bond with a particular horse
The rider picks 1 day per week for an independent ride or lease on their lesson day to be able to ride their preferred horse each lesson
Recreational part leases are session long commitments and run concurrently with our recreational lesson program
